With more than 27 years of experience as a business owner and financial advisor, Chris serves as a constant voice of leadership for the firm. His passion drives The Monitor Group to excel in serving other advisors and clients.

Chris started his financial career at a typical brokerage firm and quickly realized he had an appetite for the business. He tried his hand at Morgan Stanley and then Citigroup Financial Services, to which his team was recruited specifically to serve the diverse community of clients. From there, the team joined an independent financial firm and began focusing on financial planning. Through the different experiences, Chris felt there was a better way to serve others. In 2005, The Monitor Group was established to focus on this primary goal.

Chris, a U.S. Navy veteran, earned an MBA in Business Management at Strayer University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations at George Washington University. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63 registrations with LPL Financial and the Series 65 registration with Maryland Financial Group. Living in Potomac, Maryland, Chris finds time to enjoy family life with his wife and children. He also enjoys playing and watching soccer (the real football). Go Man United! Chris’ other passion is martial arts, specifically, Uechi-Ryu, an Okinawan karate, where he has earned a rank of 8th dan and has been practicing for over 30 years.
